Musée du Louvre - Private 2 1/2 hour tour
The Louvre was built as a fortress on the city wall of Paris around 1190. It had a moat and protected the city on the wall's most vulnerable point -- the spot most likely to be attacked by the dreaded English King, Richard the Lion Heart. During its eight centuries, it has been enlarged and embellished by French kings. Today, of course, it is one of the world's most impressive museums. Each of its wings is an experience in itself.
Our licensed guide will show you its treasures. If you've never been to the Louvre before, you can have an overview tour. If you have specific pieces or sections you would like to visit, we will customize your itinerary. Let us make this incredible place come alive to you.
This private "feature" tour lasts 2 1/2 hours costs $325, plus admission. (Cost is slightly more for larger groups.)
Pere Lachaise Cemetery
The most interesting cemetery in the world is an experience you will never forget. Visit where Chopin is buried, Sarah Bernhardt, Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison -- to name only a few. Tours are $295 for your private group of 1-4 people.
Musée d'Orsay
This private tour explores artistic creations from 1845-1914. Most notable are the Impressionistic paintings, of course; but not to be overlooked will be sculptures and decorative arts, collections of furniture, architecture and photography from that same period. French Revolution - private 2 1/2 hours

Rodin Museum
This museum was built as a private residence in 1728. The home and gardens passed through a number of hands before Rodin himself moved in and began his collection. The museum, Rodin's dream, was opened in 1919, two years after the great sculptor's death. Cost is $325 plus admissions for groups of 1-4. Available for larger groups at a slightly higher price.
Cluny Museum
This private walk concentrates on the arts and crafts of the Middle ages. Also noted will be the Roman baths dating to Gallo-Roman times. Cost is $325 for groups of 1-4 persons. Prices slightly more for larger groups.
Musée de l'Orangerie
Originally an orangerie in the jardin des Tuileries, this lovely building is now home to many of Monet's water lilies, a wonderful collection by Renoir, and other famous works. It is a comfortable museum, easily explored on this tour. Cost is $325 plus admissions for groups of 1-4. Slightly more for larger groups.
Musée Jacquemart-André

Village of Montmartre - Private 2 1/2 hour tour
The ancient village of Montmartre has only been a part of Paris since 1860. For centuries the hill was covered with vineyards -- one small one still remains. But it is more famous for being a haven for artists: Renoir, Van Gogh, Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec, to name a few.
With your private guide, you will investigate its tiny streets, the Place du Tertre, and, of course, Sacre Coeur basilica with it's outstanding views. Private tour lasts 2 1/2 hours and costs $295 for groups of 1-4.
